Check your hairdressers has public liability insurance as the most common treatment is now hair straightening
and the chemicals involved in this can cause adverse re-actions from burns to hair falling out. There is legally no formal
qualifications to carry out hairdressing so it is up to you to check that the hairdresser has public liability insurance as
if something goes wrong with your hair treatment it would be much harder to make a claim for compensation if the hairdresser
did not have the appropriate public liability insurance.
